Six women and a man arrived in Ghana and worked at the library from 20 - 30 September 2006. The team worked long hours cataloguing books into a Concourse library program that had been bought by the East/West Interknit. The team trained some of the staff to do the cataloguing. They worshipped and interacted with the seminary community and some African Instituted Churches in Accra. They had the opportunity to meet with the Board of Governors and to witness the 15th Graduation of the seminary. The paid a visit to a slave castle at Cape Coast and walked on a suspended canopy over the Kakum forest, near Cape Coast. The team donated a table-top computer, four laptops and many other gifts.
We are grateful to members of the work-team: Pamela Jervis, Sarah Jervis, Michelle Vascik, and Joel Johnson. We are also grateful to Annette Jones, the Director of EWI, who worked hard to put the team together.
